My name is Andrew Tan. I am a senior, and I started AAC to celebrate and share Asian culture and traditions with others. I'm also a violist and a tennis player.

My name is Katie Zhang. I am a senior, and I started AAC to create a space where Asian culture can be appreciated, shared, and celebrated. I’m also a violinist and tennis player who loves taking on new challenges.

Hrudya Talasila

My name is Hrudya Talasila and I am currently a senior. I became the Vice President because of my passion for representation and working with other people. I am looking forward to a good year!

My name is Ayaka Sakuma and I am currently a senior. I play the viola, do karate and go to a Japanese weekend school on Saturday. I hope to create a more open and safe space for Asian Americans in our community.

Samreen Kaur

Hey, my name is Sammy. My enthnicity is punjabi/sikh and I am from India. I am the events coordinator for AAC. In my free time i enjoy punjabi music and embroidery. I am passionate about AAC because growing up, I have constantlly been ashamed of my identity and desperately wanted to hide it. However, this club provides a platform where I no longer need to be ashamed of my heritage and I can openlly express my cultural identity. I am forever thankful to be a part of this impactful movement here at Jay.

I am Angela Jo and I am the events coordinator for the Asian American Club. I'm excited to serve as events coordinator and help plan fun, engaging events that bring members together. I look forward to creating opportunities for everyone to celebrate Asian cultures, connect with one another, and make lasting memories throughout the year.
